This is what I drew for The Boyfriend for Valentines day. Honestly, it’s still a work in progress. I really wanted to add in the background, but I can’t seem to find the right style for it. Since I couldn’t finish it in time I put a texture in the back, and it somehow works. For now. .__. The story behind this is… there was once a knight who wanted to spread happiness to people, so he became a Jester and caused a ruckus. On his travels he met a witch, who happened to be a runaway princess. Together they went on many adventures and had a generally awesome time, and eventually fell in love. Neither of them told each other who they really were, because it really didn’t matter. The knight in the jester fell in love with the princess in the witch. Aww.
A challenge that me and my new rival Alex Sandoval decided to do! Christmas tree outfits!
I realize that I haven’t been drawing properly these days, and that there’s still a long way to go. I spent the entire day today drawing, and it felt both good and frustrating.
It feels like a lot of my skills have faded into yesterday, you know? I’m trying very hard to catch up to it again. I’ve made a decision last week that finally put my life into perspective, so it’s time to take drawing seriously (again)!
I’m very excited to learn and build myself up to someone the 8-year old me could be proud of!
Everyday I go into the studio I have to make a sanity sheet. It prevents me from going insane from making in betweens all day. Today’s sanity sheet was particularly interesting, so I’m posting it. :)
